Alumni Grants
With more than 3,000 alumni from around the world, IJP forms one of the largest international networks of media professionals, including many senior editors and leaders in the media landscape.
Beyond the fellowships, IJP fosters professional and personal connections among journalists. IJP alumni have the opportunity to apply for travel and research fellowships on selected topics, which are awarded several times a year.
Burns Research Grant / Holbrooke Grant
Alumni of all programs can apply for a Holbrooke Research Fellowship. The fellowship of up to 4,000 euros is intended to support extensive research projects on globally relevant topics. A transatlantic perspective should be part of the project. Applications are open to journalists from different countries working together on a project, but individual projects will also be considered.
The call is continuous until all funds are exceeded.
